A Reel Escape...
Step into 'The Reel Escape'! A beamy 16' Princecraft Holiday Aluminum skiff designed to provide an experience as reel as they come. Equipped with a Yamaha F50hp 4 stroke/tiller handle, (2x) Scotty Downrigger's, large cooler for your catch, Salmon mooching rods and reels and all the fishing gear, this vessel puts you quite literally right next to the water with its design for an unparalleled fishing experience. We target early season migrating Chinook salmon from mid March through early June. This is hands down the best early season fishery on the coast. A wild, aggressive, and hard fighting fish this time of year, the fight is like nothing else. We primarily use 5-6' plugs and spoons, mimicking the bait these fish are here for!

The Thrill of the Float...
'Get a Reel" experience with the thrill of rafting down the river in the most remarkable coastal settings in our 13' Scadden Backslash XXX inflatable raft. This is such a unique experience! While massive peaks and cascading waterfalls pass slowly by, it always feels a bit more personal being right on the water floating a river. It's hard to describe. The scenery, the sound of the water, the birds, the wildlife.... you get to really take in your surroundings and appreciate the finer things when you get to experience the river by raft. There's just something about it. Not to mention it gives us exclusive access to parts of the river that would otherwise be unreachable. Fish from the raft, or walk and wade that tail out, our expert guides will get you into the best runs to find the fish and ensure that your adventure is nothing short of extraordinary.
What we fish for...
Coastal BC favors the angler looking for variety, a challenge, and fish with the sheer determination to put up a good fight no matter the size or species. These coastal fish just fight better. No question! Steelhead are at the top of our list and are generally our go to. These anadromous fish are legend in the fishing world here on the coast, and there's nothing quite like shaking hands with a hefty buck that still has sea lice attached! Timing the runs from late February to early June, these late winter and early spring fish are guaranteed to have you on your knees, arms up or pants down. These fish are what we plan most of our trips around. While averaging from 12-18 lbs, there's bigger, much bigger, and it's all about timing the runs. And the trout? Just as fun.... with wild native Coastal Cutthroat slashing fry in the riffles, Rainbow's and Dolly's that can't turn down a bait fish streamer on the swing or that beast of a Bull trout that hangs behind that boulder always waiting for your biggest intruder, the waters around here are plentiful from solid salmon runs and nutrient rich estuaries that keep these watersheds thriving. You will be hard pressed to find a better looking trout than what we have here on the coast. That's a promise! With our freshwater systems being Catch and Release only, we use single barbless hooks, and keep the fish wet no matter the species to ensure proper fish release etiquette as a top priority when we're with our guests.
